2016 PRGA Championships presented by Johnnie Walker Final Results
STRONG FIELD HEADS TO COCO BEACH FOR THE 2016 PRGA CHAMPIONSHIPS PRESENTED BY JOHNNIEWALKER.
8 June 2016, San Juan, Puerto Rico: An competitive field of 74 players from Puerto Rico, the United States and 3 additional countries will compete this week at the 2016 PRGA Championships presented by Johnnie Walker at Coco Beach Golf and Country Club from June 10-12.
The overall winner of The 2016 PRGA Championships will earn a spot at the 10TH PGA TOUR’s Puerto Rico Open The local Amateur Champion and Runner up will earn their spots on the Caribbean Amateur Golf Championship Hoerman Cup Team as well as the local winner of the Women's Championship on the George Teale Cup.
The PRGA Championship includes both Professionals and Amateurs including top female golfers that will compete for the Ladies Amateur Championship, as well as senior golfers in the Senior Division. The Championships include golfers competing in the 1st Flight Championship
Nine local players with WORLD AMATEUR GOLF RANKING™ (WAGR™) status will be feature during this weekend’s event, including; Erick Morales, Jose L. Cardona, Jayson Gonzalez, Yudika Rodriguez, Valeria Pacheco, Max Alverio, Gabriela Santini, Kristina Ortiz and Daniel Caban. Additionally, the event will include top Junior golfers.
